Saline Merry Mile

Presented by Ann Arbor Running Company — a 1 mile race down Michigan Avenue in downtown Saline, run along the annual holiday parade route.

Race Day

Held annually alongside the Saline holiday parade — check the current-year date at registration.

Start / Finish

Start: 5:00pm. All finishers complete no later than 5:30pm.

Location

Michigan Avenue, downtown Saline — starting at the 4 Corners intersection.

Beneficiary

Proceeds support Friends of Saline Cross Country scholarships and team funding.

The Course

A downhill start and finish through the heart of Saline

The race begins at the 4 Corners intersection (Ann Arbor Street and Michigan Avenue), proceeds east on Michigan Avenue to a turnaround point near Old Creek / Maple, then heads west back to the finish line.

The course is notable for its downhill start and finish, and runs along the annual holiday parade route — meaning spectators line the streets to cheer on every runner.

Children under 10 years old running with a paid adult receive free entry and a complimentary race t-shirt through multi-person registration.
